Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine if a new workout program would have
an
effect
on the fitness level of a select group of collegiate soccer players. The goal was to
help determine whether these athletes would perform better on the Cooper Test if a
workout program
were
put into place. The null hypothesis, that the new workout program
would have no effect on the fitness level of the athletes, was not supported. Research in
this area should continue, as there is no clear program or
test that best demonstrates the
fitness level of a collegiate soccer player.
