Smartphone applications have the ability to improve population health, mostly because of their widespread use; their rapid technological advancements and updates; and their use of features such as geolocation, video and audio recording, and internet access. In recent years, the internet has given rise to a phenomenon known as user-generated content (UGC). This paper explores usage of natural remedies, user-generated content, and user reviews and how the three concepts can be leveraged in the creation of a mobile application.en_US
