| dc.description.sponsorship | Michelle Adamson wrote this paper for the Advanced Conversation and Composition class in Spanish. We were working on a chapter called “La identidad de los latinos: Dos culturas, dos lenguas y dos visiones del mundo” (Latino identity: Two cultures, two languages, and two world views). Students were able to pick their own paper topic related to the theme of the chapter. This chapter brings to light the reality of many Latinos in the US and provokes students’ critical analyses of that reality through readings and in-class discussion. This is a great paper that shows Michelle’s level of engagement in her Spanish major and towards the betterment of education.
