The purpose of this study is to determine if an in-season strength training program will yield statistically significant improvement in muscular strength. This study used a pre-experimental design with a purposive sample. The twelve participants were selected from a junior varsity football team at a Baltimore County public high school. The goal of the study was to determine if an in-season strength training program should be utilized at the high school level. The null hypothesis was there would be no change in muscular strength. The hypothesis was accepted for two exercises, and rejected for two exercises. Further research in this area is recommended.en_US
