Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine if aerobic physical activity would have an impact on third grade students’ math achievement. The study consisted of pre/post-test design in which students engaged in a specific aerobic activity for two weeks. Students in the study received one minute of cardiovascular physical activity each day before small group math instruction. Results indicated that physical activity had a significant impact on math achievement.
