Abstract

Diabetes related care is estimated to cost approximately $327 billion per year. Given the budget constraints and rising costs in the healthcare industry, it is critical to implement cost containment and prevention measures at all levels. The research in this document explores health services disparities in diabetes care and makes recommendations to improve the quality of services for diabetes foot care.
