Abstract
This Powerpoint presentation was part of a panel at the annual conference of the Association of Moving Image Archivists that discussed where each US state or region currently falls on the preservation spectrum, the factors that contribute to the region’s preservation environment, and how things may change for the better in order to avoid a catastrophic loss of recorded American culture. The findings presented were gathered from a survey conducted by the Regional Audio-Visual Archives Committee (RAVA).
