This study used a pretest-posttest mixed factorial design to assess the effect of sexually suggestive music on self-perceived appeal in participating in same-sex and opposite-sex sexual activity. No between-subject effect or interaction effect was found. A within-subjects effect was found, indicating a confounding variable across all conditions unrelated to the independent variable.
