Millions of people are actively learning, creating, innovating, and applying sustainable solutions, yet very few of their stories have been made available to a general audience. The purpose of this project was to gather three stories directly from these soldiers of sustainability, to be published as part of a larger collection of stories. In sharing their stories, we have an opportunity to learn about their strategies, understand their approach, celebrate their efforts and successes, and begin to bridge the gap that often exists between those doing the work, those researching the work, and those that are interested but may not have access to the work.103 pen-USCollection may be protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Law.
