Martiello, Michael2019-12-092019-12-092019-12http://hdl.handle.net/11603/16684The purpose of this study was to determine a relationship between academic success and athletic success for Division III college athletic teams. The measurement tools were grade point averages and the team’s overall winning percentage. The study used a casual comparative design to compare the overall cumulative grade point average and winning percentage. There was no correlation between a team’s academic success and their athletic success. Research in this area should continue to occur in college athletics in order to promote a healthy balance between the two.25 pagesen-USThis work may be protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Law.
