The session, entitled State Fiscal Implications of Federal Health Reform, addressed what states are doing to examine the expected state fiscal implications of the Affordable Care Act. The panel discussed the areas where increased and decreased costs to Vermont and Maryland are anticipated and the assumptions and factors used to come to those conclusions.
