Participants underwent a pre- and posttest on a treadmill in order to determine their 5k performance times before and after their six-week exercise program respectively. It was determined that the exercise program did benefit its participants with a reduction of their 5k performance times. More research needs to be conducted in order to study whether the GRITâ„¢ exercise program is effective in reducing the performance times of endurance runners.28 pagesen-USThis work may be protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Law.
