Myrowitz, Michelle2016-07-142016-07-142016-07http://hdl.handle.net/11603/3072The purpose of this study was to determine if students who received more positive verbal reinforcement would be able to self-regulate their own behavior using a point sheet. This involved six students from a school in Baltimore County. This study involved use of a pre-test/post-test design to measure if students would improve their behavior, such as using appropriate language and staying in their assigned area for the first ten minutes of class if verbal reinforcement was enhanced. Due to the population, timing, and absences, there were no clear results. Research in this area should continue in order to learn how students will develop themselves the best manner in and outside the classroom.30 p.en-USCollection may be protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Law.
