Initiated in 1998 as a partnership among NASA, NOAA, and partners in 15 nations (Thompson et al., 2003), SHADOZ has archived more than 9200 ozone and pressure-temperature-humidity (PTU) profile pairs collected throughout the tropics and subtropics. The ozone data are obtained from electrochemical concentration cell (ECC) sondes flown with standard radiosondes on a balloon.9 pagesen-USThis item is likely protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Law.
