Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between frequency of class meetings
and instances of bullying in two fifth grade classrooms. The measurement tool was a simple
three question survey given to students at the end of the six-month study. No statistically
significant difference was found between the frequency of class meetings and instances of
bullying. Future research should attempt to measure the impact of class meetings on other areas
of school climate rather than simply focusing on bullying.
