This case study examined the impact of a pull-out behavioral intervention program on the reduction of disciplinary referrals in a specific group of special education students. All participants were receiving services through an IEP under the coding of Emotional Disability, ADHD, or Multiple Disabilities (ED and ADHD). The measurement tool was documentation of their disciplinary referrals both prior to and following the implementation of the intervention. Results of the case study yielded results that were not statistically significant and should be viewed on an individualized basis. Further research into the impact of behavioral intervention programs on specific populations of students should continue to be completed in order to determine effectiveness.en_US
