Founded in 1925 as the Maryland State Normal School, Salisbury University was known as State Teachers College from 1935 to 1963. This silent film shows the 25th anniversary celebrations of State Teachers College (now Salisbury University), digitized from the University Archive’s 16mm film reel. In 1950, the 25th anniversary of the school was celebrated with the groundbreaking ceremony of the Men’s Dorm in March, an amateur contest for All Seniors Day, May Day festivities, and Homecoming.
