dc.description.abstractThis thesis is an observational case study exploring human navigation using augmented reality (AR) on the moon. This research was conducted remotely using a game-like simulation to test the design of a Heads-Up Display (HUD). This HUD design would later be programmed onto a Magic Leap as part of the University of Baltimore AstroBees’ NASA SUITS Challenge entry. The results of this study include recommendations for using voice inputs in space, AR navigation design, and research methods design for remotely testing AR prototypes.en_US
