| dc.description.abstract | This panel consists of 4 presentations each focusing on different affordances of virtual exchange/telecollaboration (henceforth VE). Presentation 1 discusses specific second language learning benefits of engaging in VE. Presentation 2 explores the benefits of VE for intercultural learning and communication. Presentation 3 explores the benefits of VE as an ideal setting for promoting critical agency and critical digital literacy skills across the curriculum. Presentation 4 provides an example of experiential learning through VE to develop a comparative understanding of inequalities experienced by the elderly in the U.S. and Jordan. | |
