This third iteration of Voices From the Field branches into a new arena. The goal of this sectionremainsthecreationofavenueforawiderangeofcontributorstoaddressimportant questions around and aspects of students-as-partners work without going through the intensive submission, peer review, and revision processes. The new arena into which we are branching is artistic genres/visual representations of partnership. This branching is in keeping with arguments that several IJSa Peditorial board members, advisory board members, and authors have made regarding the need to expand these to (Healeyetal.,2020)and to be more inclusive of a diversity of authors (Cook-Sather et al., 2020), particularly student authors (Feltenetal.,2013) ,in explorations of teaching and learning. Challenging Western ways of knowing and being in research and representation(Yahlnaaw,2019),this specific expansion of Voices From the Field aims to contribute to decolonizing efforts that move beyond the primacyofthewrittenwordinwhite-supremacywaysofthinkingingeneralandinrepresenting pedagogical partnership work inparticular.
