Through the summer of 2020, I worked with 16 Baltimore City high school students to create a pitch for a new kind of cultural learning show for kids. This project reflects on that work and examines how we can use the tools of audio/visual media to build capacity with local communities, open a wider platform for people to tell their own stories, and create a more human-centered learning for audiences to ultimately increase the representation of marginalized groups in the media.en
