The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of yoga on student-athletes’ stress levels. The researcher hypothesized that participating in yoga would reduce perceived stress levels in student-athletes. This was a quasi-experimental study using a pretest/posttest design. The data did reject the null hypothesis and it was found that the participants reported reduced levels of stress after participating in yoga. Additional research regarding the effects of yoga on student-athletes’ stress levels should be conducted using a larger sample of participants over a longer period of time.en_US
