Abstract
[From Introduction]: The current dissertation seeks to explore the impact of ADHD and cultural difference on visual information processing through eye tracking technology. Better understanding of the relationships between ADHD, cultural difference, and visual information processing will help researchers and practitioners to design visual contents that better fit the special needs of people with ADHD or users from different cultures. The results obtained from both studies will help academic teachers to present statistical data in the preferred presentation format for each group of participants to better attract their attention, e.g. individual with ADHD will pay more attention to the table format than the graph and text format. These formats will be discussed later in the experiment design section. Also, web designers will focus on placing the important information at the top portion of the page to attrack attention. The rest of the dissertation is organized into five main sections, namely literature review, research questions, research methodology, analysis results for both studies, and implications and contribution.
