Abstract
This theses follows the processes and research completed to create a public history project entitled, Mapping Baltimore Arabbers. The project is place-based public history, focusing on shared authority, community engagement, and advocacy. This theses uses a broad lens to tell the history of the Baltimore Arabbers, and covers themes such as Baltimore'sfoodways, supermarket redlining, and racial discrimination.
