Abstract
This talk highlights Carole McCann’s project on Planned Parenthood of Maryland (PPM), which marked its 90th anniversary in 2017. Working with local archives and PPM, McCann is reconstructing the history of the organization through the work of its staff and community members, whose efforts made PPM a respected public health institution and vital affiliate in the national Planned Parenthood Federation.
