The purpose of this study was to determine if ninth grade special education students would achieve academically higher scores on post-assessments, given the variable of technology. The measurement tool was two separate rounds of post-test assessments, one of each was conducted using traditional methods and the others conducted using a web-based application. Achievement gains were not noticeably higher in either round, given the technology variable. Research in this area should continue as the technological landscape continues to evolve in and around education.en
