Different applications of robotics require widely different setups of the environments that control the robots. Education and research are closely related in most academic settings yet require different architectures for the structures supporting the operations of agents. Learning how to use a robot needs clear and easy interfaces, while using a robot to discover new knowledge in the field of imitation-based robotics sometimes leaves behind a messy environment. This article introduces a blueprint adaptable enough for students and researchers to survive within the same niche as well as a cheap solution for starting a Robotics laboratory on a shoestring.en
