Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which mindfulness activities are
currently being used in a Baltimore County Middle School. The study was used to determine if
mindfulness interventions were being used and to what extend. The measurement tool was an
observation sheet created by the observer. The observation sheet was used to collect data in
relation to mindfulness interventions being conducted in the classroom setting. The study was used
to determine if mindfulness interventions could decrease negative behavior in the classroom.
Research in the area of mindfulness interventions should continue.
