The CALorimetric Electron Telescope (CALET) was deployed on the International Space Station in October 2015 and has accumulated over three years of continuous data to date. The calorimeter (CAL) is sensitive to gamma rays with energies above 1 GeV, and the response has been characterized up to hundreds of GeV. In this work we investigate counterpart GeV-energy emission to gamma-ray bursts observed by the CALET Gamma-ray Burst Monitor and the Swift and FermiGBM missions. The methodologies for the event search and the setting of upper limits in the case of non-detection are presented, along with results from the first three years of CALET operations, covering over 100 GRBs.en_US
