The purpose of this study was to determine if a transition program between eighth and ninth grade will improve academic performance. The measurement tool was the Baltimore County Public School Report Card. This study involved the use of posttest design using data collected from the report cards of students. There is no significance between the two different grounds. Research in this area should continue as this time period in an adolescent's life is very important to help the student succeed in school.en_US
