The purpose of this descriptive study was to determine if homework is associated with anxiety in students. A survey was delivered to medical professionals in a hospital setting in Washington, DC. Only twenty respondents completed the questions. The amount of time the participants were last enrolled in school varied from less than four years, four to six years, seven to ten years and eleven or more years. The results of this study were supported by the majority of respondents who experienced different levels of anxiety while doing homework.en
