In the future, it has become the norm for parents to edit their children's DNA in vitro through CRISPR technology. Because of their genetic superiority, the designed, commonly known as "Vitros" have secured their place as the dominant social class. Despite his status as a Utero, Aleksy Przybylski has managed to stay in school and keep up with his classmates. Until he is kicked out with no warning.
