| dc.description.abstract | In 2015, librarians at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) began work to implement an archival description workflow compliant with Encoded Archival Description (EAD). Existing collection descriptions in PastPerfect, formatted according to Describing Archives: A Content Standard (SAA, 2013), are exported as PastPerfect-XML and then transformed into both EAD-XML and MARC-XML using two XSLT stylesheets. | en |
