Related activity choice (RAC) is an advantageous alternative to summative peer evaluation (SPE) as a method of assigning group members individual credit towards grades for a collective outcome. Whereas SPE asks group members to submit ratings of each other’s contributions to the collective outcome, RAC asks each group member to choose between preferencing the member’s own performance in a related individual activity or preferencing the average performance of all members in that activity.en_US
