Abstract
The rapid evolution of Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs) has brought forth the need for intelligent, context-aware, and adaptive systems capable of seamless decision-making in complex environments. Recent developments in Web 3.0 and Metaverse technologies have introduced new opportunities to enhance the capabilities of CAVs by enabling decentralized data sharing, immersive user interaction, and integrated physical–digital coordination. These technologies offer the potential to revolutionize vehicular systems by fostering real-time collaboration among vehicles and infrastructure, enhancing trust through blockchain-based mechanisms, and enabling context-rich services through virtual and augmented environments.
