dc.description.abstractJavaScript has been in existence for many years already and is one of the most widely known and used front-end programming languages in web application development. Many web applications today are very interactive and the users are getting used to applications that change hundreds of elements every second. For web programmers, it is important to choose the proper JavaScript framework that not only serves their project needs, but also provides code of high quality and good performance. The scope of this paper is to provide a thorough quality and performance evaluation of the most popular JavaScript frameworks, taking into account well established software quality factors and performance tests. Overall, this research hopes to contribute additional knowledge in comparing JavaScript frameworks.
