Ocama, which means "listen" is a two part project regarding the importance of sustaining Taino culture. The first part is a manuscript created from the voices of twenty-one Taino people. It is a community portrait that conveys the strength of Taino culture and identity. The second part of the project is a reflective paper about my experience throughout the project.en_US
