The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of critical thinking interventions on student achievement in high school science. The measurement tool was created by the Math Department Chair at the researcher’s school. This study involved the use of a pre-assessment and post-assessment with critical thinking skills taught between the assessments. The pre-assessment and post-assessment data were analyzed to determine student growth. The study showed that students who attended school on a regular basis showed an increased growth in critical thinking skills.en
