Culturalsustainability.org is founded in the spirit of fostering support and networking opportunities for professionals practicing the methodologies associated with cultural sustainability, a professional practice dedicated to community empowerment and social justice. The innovative professionals using cultural sustainability work with the goal of creating compassionate and holistic understandings between people and places. Whether this understanding comes from successfully teaching and passing on important folk life traditions or campaigning for an environmental cause, the critical heart of this work has to do with respect, listening, and learning. The website is a platform where those interested in learning more about this concept can connect to information, and also functions as a place for continued learning and networking. The website endeavor is 100% member supported and funded, in the hope that this will be a useful resource for the growing practice of cultural sustainability.en_US
