| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Morning Meetings on the behavior of elementary school students. The participants in this study were 215 fourth and fifth grade students enrolled in a public elementary school in Baltimore County. This study used a quasi-experiment design, consisting of a pre-test and post-test design. In the fall of 2016, data was kept to determine the number of students who received a behavior referral. During the fall of 2017, Morning Meetings were implemented school wide. Data was then kept to determine the number of students who received a behavior referral post-implementation of the meetings. The findings of this study suggest that there was a significant impact on behavior of fifth grade students, but there was not significant impact on the behavior of fourth grade students. | en |
