    Philosophy of Education in Action: An Inquiry-Based Approach

    Encouraging a "philosophy in action" grounded in the observations and experiences of the reader, Philosophy of Education in Action offers an innovative yet accessible introduction to philosophy in education. Each chapter examines the influence of philosophy on current educational practices using authentic classroom vignettes and fundamental "what if" questions about curriculum, pedagogy, and the role of the school. Through this unique inquiry-based approach that highlights the procedural dimensions of philosophy, students learn both how to apply philosophy to their own educational practices and how to think critically and creatively about philosophic questions.
