Abstract

This study was intended to examine the importance of various criteria when parents selected a preschool program for their children. The sample consisted of 105 parents of children enrolled in one of five preschools in Frederick County, Maryland during the winter of 1980-1981. From data collected through use of researcher-developed questionnaire, the results were analyzed using statistical analysis to obtain frequencies, percentages and mean ratings of the criteria.
