dc.description.abstractThis presentation was given to an introductory workshop on archives at the Youngstown Historical Center for Industry and Labor (YHCIL), Youngstown, Ohio, on March 17, 2012. It consists of three sections. The first section provides a general introduction, including a definition of archives and illustrations of different types, examples and activities of archival repositories. The second section gives a concise overview of the YHCIL. The third section briefly discusses how to create your own personal archives.en_US
