Abstract

Activism on Campus: There is a call for increased student activism, comparing current student engagement to the more active participation seen in previous decades. Health and Wellness: The importance of dental hygiene is humorously discussed, emphasizing its impact on daily interactions and overall health. SGA Elections: The student government elections are highlighted, with detailed accounts of candidate speeches and the competitive atmosphere. Black Panther Party: An article about Eddie Conway, one of the longest-held political prisoners from the U.S. War on the Black Panther Party, discusses his wrongful conviction and efforts for his release. Hip-Hop Culture: The evolution of hip-hop and its commercialization are explored, with a focus on maintaining the genre's authenticity and resisting its dilution by mainstream influences. Technological Upgrades: The challenges and expectations surrounding the implementation of the Bear Necessity Card and Internet registration system at Morgan State University are examined, revealing mixed feelings among students. Valentine’s Day Reflections: Various perspectives on Valentine’s Day are shared, questioning the societal pressures and materialistic expectations associated with the holiday.
