In this work, we used a susceptible-exposed-infected-recovered-vaccinated (SEIRV) mathematical model to model measles in Madagascar. The model used in this work is a system of five ordinary differential equations that rep- resents the dynamics of the susceptible-exposed-infected-recovered-vaccinated (SEIRV). We used the next generation matrix method to compute the basic reproduction number, R0, of the model for Madagascar. Then, we used the sensitivity analysis to measure the impact of the change of the model parame- ters on the value of R0. We performed computer simulations of the model for Madagascar. Model simulations show that measles infections in Madagascar are lower when higher measles vaccination rate is implemented.en_US
