The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of restorative practices on the students’ perception of their school climate. The participants in this study included 665 1st – 5th grade students enrolled in a public elementary school in Baltimore County. This study used a causal comparative, pre-survey, post-survey design. In the fall of 2017, a climate survey created by the school climate committee was sent out to students asking them to respond to statements based on a 4-point agreement scale. In the fall of 2018, restorative practices were implemented schoolwide. The same school climate survey was then sent out to students after implementation of restorative practices. The findings of this study suggest that the implementation of restorative practices have no significant impact or effect on the student’s perception of their school climate.en_US
