Abstract
SGA Achievements and Challenges:
SGA President Seymour Chambers highlighted various accomplishments, including financial stability by clearing previous debts, introducing new services, and organizing successful programs and events.
Despite many successes, there were challenges, such as the underwhelming Homecoming week and personnel changes within the SGA.
Health Concerns in McMechen Building:
Persistent odors in the McMechen building, believed to be caused by a combination of natural gas, sewer gas, and truck exhaust, have led to health complaints from faculty and students.
Efforts to address the issue have been ongoing, with inspections and potential solutions being explored.
Police Brutality Exposé:
A special feature on police brutality highlighted cases of excessive force and the lack of accountability for police misconduct. The report discussed national and local incidents, emphasizing the need for systemic reforms and greater oversight.
Forum on Black Family Values:
