I seek to better understand managed care as a primary social driver of burnout, and the consequences of burnout for mental health professionals. I will find whether there is a correlation between managed care and burnout within a local community mental health agency. The data I collect from this local agency will be compared to larger studies and current research to better understand how managed care may be a contributing factor to burnout among this agency. I hope to find that with this correlation I can find ways in which those working under managed care can be regulated to prevent burnout. Providing my research to the greater population will allow some further understanding of what managed care is as well as how burnout is impacted by managed care.en_US
