Abstract
The Highway Pegasus: Illustrated Poems, consists of 45 poems and 6 oil paintings (illustrations), and is comprised of free verse as well as experimental forms. The manuscript includes pastorals, elegies, odes, and the Ars poetica. The illustrations seek to understand the relationship between text and image, and are in the tradition of surrealism, narrative, and fantasy art.
