Shakespeare is one of the most widely read authors of his time. His writing reflects his outlook on life. This paper explores how Shakespeare characterizes some of his villains. The language of some of these villains, their interaction with the audience, interpretation of one of Shakespeare's villains by a director, and the journey of revenge to that of forgiveness. This paper will also reflect how some of Shakespeare's villains are attractive, thereby making their audience a part of their despicable acts.en_US
